Children's Activities Programs

Eagle Outings

Our “Eagle Outing” Activities Programs are geared for our younger resort guests (5-12 years of age). These activities are designed to encourage them to meet other guests and explore nature. The programs run weekly during our summer months at no charge to our resort guests.

The 2010 program will run from June 11th to August 22nd.

Meet at Camp Run-A-Muk (near playground) for all activities unless otherwise noted. [Subject to weekly updates]

We do ask that parents stay on the resort property while their children participate. Children are free to come and go from activities.

SUNDAY 3:00 - 5:00 pm

Kid's Fishing Jamboree- (3:00 pm) Conducted by local fishing guide, Muskie Matt. All anglers will receive a ribbon for participating. Awards include ribbons for 2nd and 3rd place and a trophy for 1st place. Fishing poles and bait are provided. Parents are invited to assist anglers. Awards will be presented during the RFRG Outdoor Radio Show (7:00 pm) conducted live from Boondockers Lounge.

MONDAY 9:00-12:00 and 7:00 pm

Crafts - Nature Puzzle & Fish Decoration
Games - Knot Challenge & Tag Games
Nature - Wreaths & Iron Campers
Waterplay- Beach Darts & Tic-Tac-Toe & "What Time Is It Mr. Sharkey"
Resort Campfire- (7:00 pm) Join us at the Lynx Lake firepits to meet other resort guests and lodge staff. Bring the entire family for s'mores and a great time.
