A productive trip, for many reasons!

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

Hello all-  Heather here, from the Wild Eagle Lodge Group Sales Department!  As some of you know, I regularly take sales trips throughout Wisconsin to visit Wild Eagle Lodge’s current and prospective business retreat clients.  Yesterday took me to the Wausau, Wisconsin area where I had the opportunity to visit with some great people.  On my way home I couldn’t resist the urge to pick up some Jimmy John’s subs for my husband and I for dinner.  Jimmy and his staff are perennial guests at Wild Eagle Lodge each winter and they love the Amsoil World Championship Snowmobile Derby!  The subs were awesome as usual…so here’s to the Jimmy John’s crew!!  Have a great day- Heather Beach

Spring Business Retreats at Wild Eagle Lodge

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

Now that warm weather is on the way, the Group Sales Department is busy setting up lodging, meeting space, tee times, fishing guides, and cook-outs for our business retreat guests.  I assist the company or non-profit organizers with the details that make a retreat at Wild Eagle Lodge special.  Whether the group needs specific audio/ visual equipment for their meeting or they would like a recommendation on the best time to take our dinner ferry to catch the sunset over Duck Lake, I am happy to help!  I enjoy taking care of these details, and it allows the organizers to focus on meeting content and travel logistics, knowing that I have their needs here at the resort taken care of.  If you’re involved with a company or non-profit that is considering a retreat, give me a call today to find out how I can assist you!

Happy Easter!

Team building activities for business groups, clubs, and associations!

Friday, February 19th, 2010

I was just visiting with an upcoming business retreat organizer today about different team building activities at Wild Eagle Lodge and in the Eagle River area.  There really is a big array of activities offered here in the Northwoods of Wisconsin!  Many of our business retreat clients enjoy taking the resort’s canoes and kayaks out onto the Chain of Lakes for a morning or afternoon group excursion, sand volleyball games and softball games are also very popular choices!  For those looking to venture off the resort golf, tubing the Wisconsin River, fishing the Chain of Lakes, and hiking are popular choices.  In addition, Wild Eagle Lodge is happy to offer ideas for indoor team building activities and games to our groups!

I would love to hear from you!  Please let me know what your favorite team building activities are!  All the best- Heather
