Wild Eagle Lodge after a snow storm

Wild Eagle Lodge after a snow storm

The holiday season is just around the corner, the tree is up and the lobby and grounds are decorated. There is a dusting of snow all over the Northwoods and more is expected in the next few days. If you are still looking for a place to spend the holidays we have some great packages available. Click here for more information. We are just a few days away from my favorite day of the winter, opening day for the snowmobile trails. We have finally started to get cooler weather here in Eagle River so it looks like the snowmobile trails might open up on time (December 15th). If you are looking for a quiet weekend away before the hectic holidays, we are running a great special this weekend where you can receive 20% off your first night. Click here for more information.

Julie Szafranski

Julie Szafranski

Every month we are going to tell you a little more about one of our staff members here at Wild Eagle Lodge. This month’s profile will be on Julie:

Originally from Charlevoix MI, Julie came to Eagle River in 2003. She has been a part of the Wild Eagle Lodge family since the beginning, with a little break to expand her family.

Julie enjoys attending many of the local events Eagle River has to offer as well as exploring the many family activities the area has. You can catch her and her family out mini-golfing, bowling a few frames, or enjoying the many parks and beaches in the area. With her sons just starting to play hockey this year you will be seeing a lot of Julie out at the rink as well. Julie is also a great person to ask for a recommendation for a good restaurant during your stay as she enjoys going out and “testing” them for our guests.

Great Special At Wild Eagle Lodge

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

We got enough snow to cover the ground and put us in the holiday spirit. We decorated the lobby with our 10′ christmas tree, lots of lights and pointsetta. Along side the stone fireplace it is very cozy.

We are between seasons as we wait for the winter sports to start and the holidays to come. It is a great time for a quiet getaway and I have a great offer for you. Reserve a stay for this upcoming weekend now and we will take 20% off your first night!!! A two night stay or more is required but you can use our quiet season special as well where any additional night is only $99.

Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for a relaxing and affordable weekend away. Click here to reserve your stay.
