New Roofs going onto the Lazy Lynx building

As you can see from the picture we are getting new roofs here at the Wild Eagle Lodge. They only had five years on them but as some of you may remember we had a hail storm here last Memorial Day Weekend. For those of you who did not know we had a nice spring storm with some golf ball size hail that did a little damage to the roofs around town. We did not receive that much damage here so we were able to put it off until now. We are hoping to have all of the roofs replaced before the snow flies as long as the weather cooperates with us for a little while. Cranberry Fest was a little cold this year but there were still plenty of people out taking part in the event. I was out there Sunday working in the beer garden and I got to stock up on a few pounds of fresh cranberries for the holidays. If you missed this year’s event you can plan for next year now, Cranberry Fest is always the first weekend in October.

  1. I am in the process of scheduling interviews for a roofing contractor.
I know the basics (i.e. proof of insurance, license, written price, schedule) but are there any other questions
I should be asking that would effect the outcome of the roof? Is it ok to flat out as for referrals?
Do you think it is important to actually meet the foreman who will be on the job?
    Any insight would help!! Thanks!

I don’t have too much more information for you, I would suggest meeting with the contractor and references are very important. The contractor we are using has worked with other property’s that we have in the past and that is how he was referred to us. I hope this helps.
