This is Heather Beach, Director of Group Sales here at Wild Eagle Lodge. As I gear up to welcome summer bus tours it occurred to me many people don’t know about the great winter activities Wild Eagle Lodge offers to tour groups and other guests in the winter time! Here at the resort we offer ice fishing (with equipment to use), a snowshoe trail with snowshoe rentals, winter bonfires, and more! Plus if you are interested in a little exploring we recommend snowmobiling the area on over 500 miles of trails! In addition, there are many public and private cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails in the area.
Beyond all of the great outdoor activities the area has to offer, there are also a lot of indoor activities. Groups can visit the many museums in the area, visit a casino for the day, or shop the quaint shops and galleries that are scattered through the Northwoods! After a busy day of activities most of our guests like to return to Wild Eagle to enjoy a drink in our lounge or cozy up by their lodge home fireplace.
