Weddings at Wild Eagle Lodge

As we head into the spring and summer seasons in the Northwoods, wedding tours continue to be a popular inquiry.  The crisp and clean smell of the spring season keeps love in the air and weddings on the minds of newly engaged couples. Many happy couples like to start planning their most important day as much as one to two years in advance. A common question I receive is – what makes weddings unique at Wild Eagle Lodge? Each bride and groom have their own vision as to what they want to experience on their wedding day. Our desire is to fulfill that vision and make their day as beautiful and as memorable as possible!

In addition to our dedicated staff and breathtaking scenery, our resort has a variety of events both at the resort and in the surrounding areas to help make a wedding day extra special.  For example, one of our recent summer weddings was scheduled the same weekend as the Antique and Wooden Boat Show. Having both events scheduled the same weekend provided a unique touch for the bride and groom’s special day. After the wedding couple, Kjirsti and Austin, exchanged their wedding vows in front of their family and friends; there was a little spare time before their reception started. A few of the antique and wooden boat owners decided to give Kjirsti and Austin, along with their wedding party, rides in their vintage boats on the Chain of 28 Lakes.  This adventure made for a spectacular photo opportunity and added some extra joy to their wedding day.  What a fantastic unplanned memory for the two of them! Afterwards, Kjirsti and Austin joined their guests under the large tent decorated with pink and green Chinese lanterns for a fun–filled night and colorful celebration.

We take pride in all that we have to offer our wedding guests during their stay. In fact, some of the guests extend their stays and many others return for a future vacation with their friends or families.
